We are a private soccer club based in Falls Church, with over 20 years of experience
developing the individual and team skills of young players from Falls Church,
Vienna, Mclean, Arlington, Annandale and Fairfax.
Premier AC girls and boys teams compete in top regional leagues, including the
National Capital Soccer League (NCSL) and the Old Dominion Soccer League (ODSL).
We provide a year-round training program with top-quality instruction from
qualified coaches and trainers. Emphasis is on the technical, tactical, physical,
and mental components of the game in a positive environment.
We are always looking for players who are committed to improving their
soccer skills and having fun. We hold formal tryouts every May and June.
However, because teams often have openings on their rosters, interested players
may try out throughout the year.

We hold formal tryouts every May and June. However, because teams often have
openings on their rosters, interested players may try out throughout the year.
Unlike many clubs, Premier AC doesn't compress a player's tryout into a single,
high-pressure scrimmage, practice or workout. Rather, a prospective player practices
with the team on multiple occasions, providing an extended opportunity for the
coach to learn more about the player, and for the player to get acquainted with
the team and the coach.
For girls born in 2011, 2012, and 2013, we welcome either full-time players who
wish to practice two or three times per week and play in Sunday games,
or part-time players who wish to practice one to two days per week, with the option
to play in an occasional game. Interested girls may drop into any of our
Monday, Wednesday, or Friday practice sessions from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm at
Luther Jackson Middle School.
Club fees are adjusted in proportion to a player's level-of-participation in practices
and games.
Prior to attending a girls 2011-to-2013 practice, please send an email to
GirlsTeams@pac-soccer.com
to let us know you are coming. You may also direct any questions to this email address.
For tryouts, prospective players should wear their soccer gear, and bring a ball
and water.
Accomplishments
Premier AC attracts a wide variety of kids and young adults whose
soccer ambitions vary greatly. Most of our players are not aiming
for college scholarships; rather, they simply want to develop into
solid club players, while enjoying the comaraderie of their teammmates.
Premier AC takes great pride in helping these players to progress
and improve.
A subset of PAC players wish to play in college, and perhaps the pros.
Over the years, PAC has helped many players to achieve this dream.
Two of our players reached the professional level:
- Bill Hamid, PAC developed from age 6
- Bill became the first DC United Academy player to sign with the first team.
When he made his professional debut with DC United, he became the youngest goalkeeper
in MLS history to win a regular season game, besting the record set by Tim Howard.
Bill has been on the US Men's National Team, including the team's win in the 2013
CONCACAF Gold Cup.
- Conor Shanosky, PAC 91 White
- Conor Shanosky signed with DC United in 2010, becoming the second PAC trained player
to progress from DC United's academy to play professionally. Shanosky played with the
United States' U-20 team in Ireland.
Many PAC "graduates" have played at the college level, including the following
individuals:
- Ashley Tilly, Coastal Carolina, Class of 2017
- Robyn Hatcher, Belmont Abbey College, Class of 2017
- Erik Judy, Methodist University, Class of 2017
- Maggie Buxton, James Madison University, Class of 2017
- Ashley Bonner, American University, Class of 2017
- Bria Bass, University of Maryland, Baltimore County, Class of 2016
- Antoinette Roland, Ferrum College, Class of 2016
- Erin Brady, James Madison University, Class of 2016
- Taylor Riley, Bridgewater College, Class of 2016
- Megan Webb, Ferrum College, Class of 2015

Frequently Asked Questions
►What is a team's typical practice schedule?
Our teams practice 3 times each week. However, our coaches recognize
that parents and kids often have busy schedules. Therefore, while we
offer 3 practices per week, it is fine if a player attends an
average of 2 practices each week.
►For games, how much travel is involved?
Most of our games are played either in Falls Church or within
a 40-minute drive from the DC area.
►Where do Premier AC teams practice?
►Do teams practice in the winter and summer, in addition to the spring and fall?
Yes. We practice 12 months of the year, but with the understanding that players may miss some practices
due to summer and winter vacations. Practing year-round is of great benefit because it prevents the
erosion of skills that often occurs if a player takes a lengthy break from the game.
►What is the youngest age that a player can join a Premier AC team?
We offer training beginning at age 7, and our youngest teams start at age 9.
►Do you offer specialized training for goalkeepers?
Yes
►Do you offer financial assistance for players from low-income families?
Yes
►My child is "graduating" from Arlington's ADP program. Do some ADP players
transition into the Premier AC program?
Yes. Premier AC is a popular "landing spot" for ADP players.
